When CaseApp contacted me asking if I’d like to review their cases, I was so excited. I am a phone-case-hoarder and have stacks of them even though you can only ever use one at a time. It then took me about a month (literally) to decide which phone case to get. Did I want one already offered on CaseApp’s website or should I get a custom made one? And if I get a custom made one, what pattern should I choose? I trawled through Etsy for designs and looked through sites with inspirational quotes but in the end I decided that CaseApp already had two designs that would suit my phone well so I picked those instead.
I opted for two tough iPhone 6S cases in a marble and a leafy pattern. I originally ordered these with the intention of running a giveaway for the white marble case, but then I fell in love with it and now it is firmly clamped to my iPhone 😂 There’s a large range of designs already on the CaseApp site from city views to animal patterns to quotes. There are a lot of different cases to choose from but if none of them tickle your fancy you can always make your own – at no extra cost! You could make a collage of your family photos, create your own design or use an image that you yourself have taken. You can add text and clipart on top of any of your own photos to make it even more personal.
For each phone model you can choose either the standard or tough case, with the former costing £19 and the latter £22. For just £3 more you can get a much sturdier case, which is a bargain in my opinion. The only slight annoyance is that the extra “tough” layer means you have to push a little harder to make the volume buttons and power button work. There is an extra layer of black plastic that goes around the inside of your case that really does offer you much more protection. The case is inflexible and very sturdy so you know that you drop your phone, the case will bear the brunt of the force. So this little bit of extra effort is totally worth it, in my opinion, to ensure that your phone is well and truly protected.
CaseApp offer both phone cases and laptop skins for pretty much every major phone model out there so there’s bound to be one for you. A personalised phone case could make a lovely present this Christmas and they’re really easy to make on CaseApp’s site. It’s a great way to remind someone you care and it’s something that they’ll carry around with them everyday so the recipient will always be thinking of you! Laptop skins are also a great gift as they can easily make a boring macbook look much more fashionable. I have one of Van Gogh’s prints on mine and makes a real change from the dull silver top.
As for the more practical side of things, my cases arrived within a few days of ordering them. They were tightly packaged in a small brown box so this will definitely fit through your letter box, which means no need to sit at home waiting. I assume it may take a little longer for a custom case to be made so I’d get ordering now if you want one for Christmas!
All in all, I am super impressed with just how durable the tough cases from CaseApp are. Most seriously tough cases for phones look clunky and ugly but I have received nothing but praise for my white marble case. White marble is also very popular amongst bloggers and Instagrammers right now so I’m happy I can blend in and be extra #basic 😂
