BuySend is one of the largest e-retailers in the UK, offering over 50,000 products across a wide range of categories, including toys & games, fancy dress, home & leisure, tools, sport & fitness and much, much more.
When I first discovered BuySend, I was pleasantly surprised by the range and the number of different products offered. It’s rare to find an online retailer that stocks products in as many categories as BuySend, in fact, some of the products offered by BuySend are not offered by other retail giants such as Amazon. If, for example, you’re looking for a good deal on a fancy dress costume, but it’s not stocked where you’d usually look, try BuySend.com, they might just have what you need! I’ve spotted a few unique items on their site that I haven’t seen elsewhere (and I’m a big online shopper), so if you’re looking for items that are a little different, perhaps you’ll find what you’re looking for here.
The website is easy to navigate with all the products clearly sorted into categories and good quality pictures of every product. Once you’ve chosen which products you want to buy, the checkout process is really easy too. You have the option to pay via PayPal or by direct debit and it’s very quick and hassle-free.
BuySend offer competitive pricing across all their products, and whilst the product itself may not always be the cheapest available online, the free delivery on ALL orders means that you’ll probably still end up saving money. These products arrived 2 days after I put my order through which was much quicker than other online sellers who often state that their products take 3 – 5 days to arrive. If you’re pressed for time, this site is excellent as the order is processed and your items dispatched very quickly.
So, what did I get?
I received two items that I’ve been wanting for ages from BuySend.com, which were a Cersei Lannister Funko Pop and a My Life Story Diary.
Funko Pops are all the rage on Instagram right now so I was very surprised that BuySend had already picked them up. They’re a newly fashionable toy for geeks and book/film lovers and I’m absolutely delighted with my little Cersei. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll have seen that she’s already been featured in a couple of pictures (and there are more to come!). It’s evidently a very well made little figurine as it’s sturdy and doesn’t feel too light. These are great gift ideas for people who love collectibles and they come in at around £13, depending on which character you buy, which isn’t too bad.
My Life Story is something I’ve wanted for a number of years now. It’s an absolutely ginormous and heavy book in which you’re supposed to document *drum roll* your life story. There’s not a lot inside it which gives you the freedom to add as many photos and as much text as you want. Every now and again there’s a page where you can list the 10 best books/films etc. of the year and the rest of the space is dedicated to your special moments. I wish there was a little more guidance inside the book as to what to write about as if you’re not a really creative person, the blank pages can seem a little daunting.
The book itself is very well made, incredibly sturdy with good thick paper, which I guess is because it’s designed to last for your entire life (and beyond!). I’m 20 years old at the moment so I’m hoping to get really good use out of this book over the years to come. Again, this makes a really nice gift idea for those that like to taking photos and documenting their days.
